Lund Stem Cell Center FACS Facility
The flow cytometry is one of the major methods in the research of cell populations. It has major advantages such as the simultaneous detection of wide range of parameters that enables the understanding of diversity among seemingly similar cells. The ability to enumerate a very large number of viable cells in a relatively short period of time provides experiment with reliability. StemTherapy FACS Core Facility is open for all Lund university reserachers.
StemTherapy FACS Core Facility has three cell sorters (BD FACS Aria) and two analysis machines (BD LSR II and Fortessa). They allow detection of up to 18 fluorescent probes on the surface of analyzed material. Detected/identified cells can be sorted purely for further use in your research.
