Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Lund Stem Cell Center

SCC members enjoyed a multi-cultural potluck lunch.
Members of the Lund Stem Cell Center enjoy a potluck lunch together, celebrating their diverse backgrounds.

Diversity leads to better science. Different perspectives and approaches promote discussion, sparking the creativity and innovation needed to generate the discoveries of tomorrow.

At Lund Stem Cell Center (SCC), we believe that diversity, equity, and inclusion are vital for promoting scientific progress and forming the foundation of a flourishing and supportive academic research environment.

We recognize the importance of cultivating a welcoming, diverse, and inclusive research environment and are continually exploring ways to improve our scientific community.

Together, we strive to foster a culture built on collaboration, trust, and mutual respect, where every voice is heard and valued.

To drive positive change, our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee is responsible for developing and implementing initiatives that promote DEI principles among our network. We also remain committed to encouraging diversity in our recruitment and hiring practices and sustaining a culture of belonging among our members and the wider scientific community.
