Services and Charges
Services we provide:
- Cell Sorting
- FACS Analysis
- FACS training-courses, individual one-to-one training
- Advice and supervision of users for experiments and data analysis
- Participating in developing new protocols and techniques
- Assistance with FlowJo Analysis
Prices are in SEK per/hour, time can be booked at 15 min increments. Use the application form below for booking of all services.

Booking:
- Approved users should use the Booking calendar (log in with Lucat, may need to add UW\Lucat ID).
- New applicants should consult FACS Facility Personel prior to booking via: facscore [dot] scc [at] med [dot] lu [dot] se (facscore[dot]scc[at]med[dot]lu[dot]se).
- All users requiring assistance in sorting and analysis must book time 10-14 days in advance of planned sorting day.
- If you book less than 10 days ahead we cannot guarantee the availability of time slot.
- F-Permits: All users working with Gene Modified Models (GMM) must be aware that in order to work in our facility it is necessary that you include Lund Stem Cell Center FACS core facility (Room B1241a and B1213a) in your F-permit. The FACS core Facility is not responsible for obtaining permits. Please pass this information to the responsible person in your group.
Charges:
- For each sort performed by FACILITY the startup, shutdown and cleaning procedures are not charged.
- The above charging scheme will be applied. Difference in charge between Internal users and External users reflect that Internal user groups subsidise FACS facility.
- Please note that the FACS facility is run on a non-profit basis. Any excess income, will come back to the users in the form of lower costs the following year, or upgrades in machines etc. Likewise, any deficits, will result in increased costs the following year.
Cancellations
You are allowed to cancel any of your bookings for any reason. Cancellations more than 24h before sorting will not result in any charge. Short notice cancellation will result in charging of the booked time.
