Stem Cell Stars Seminar: Ken Zaret
Join us for this Stem Cell Stars Seminar featuring Dr. Kenneth S. Zaret, Joseph Leidy Professor in the Department of Cell and Developmental Biology at the Perelman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Zaret is the Director of the University of Pennsylvania's, Institute for Regenerative Medicine (USA) and is known for his work on stem cells and gene regulation. His discoveries include "pioneer factors," a signaling network now used for generating liver and pancreas cells, and techniques for converting specialized cell types. He has also developed a stem cell-like line from human pancreatic cancer cells to identify a new regulatory network in early-stage pancreatic cancer.
We invite you to join us for fika and mingle with fellow researchers to discuss the science presented and network with like-minded individuals.
Get ready to be inspired by this superstar of stem cell science and connect with other scientists!
