RAMP-UP: Regenerative Medicine and Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products – United for PhD Excellence

Welcome to the submission portal for RAMP-UP’s first Call for Co-Funded Doctoral Research Projects.

This call invites researchers from all faculties at the four implementing universities — Lund University, Leiden University Medical Center, Hannover Medical School, and the Technical University of Denmark — to propose interdisciplinary PhD research projects related to regenerative medicine and advanced therapy medicinal products (ATMPs).

Through RAMP-UP, selected projects will host outstanding doctoral fellows as part of a European training network advancing innovation across the ATMP development pipeline — from discovery to clinical translation, commercialization, and responsible implementation.

The application submission period opens on 3rd November and closes 30th December 2025.

The RAMP-UP Doctoral Programme is a collaborative, innovative, and interdisciplinary programme in regenerative medicine and ATMPs.
