Stem Cell Talk with Henrik Ahlenius
Join us on Wednesday, Septermber 30th, for our next Stem Cell Talk featuring Principal Investigator Henrik Ahlenius! This event is open to all students and researchers at Lund University.
Our monthly Stem Cell Talks offer a dynamic platform for Lund Stem Cell Center's Principal Investigators to present their research and share significant findings.
We are excited to continue the series with Henrik Ahlenius, who will discuss his research which focuses on how aging and neurodegenerative diseases affect the brain, neural cells and neural stem cells. Using novel stem cell, reprogramming and genome editing technologies, he and his team are studying how genetic pathways involved in aging and neurodegenerative disease affect formation and function of neural cells, with a particular focus on neural stem cells and neurogenesis in the adult and aging brain.
