Immunity by Design: In Vivo Immune Cell Engineering Conference
Save the date! The Cellular Reprogramming in Hematopoiesis and Immunity research group led by Professor Filipe Pereira at the Lund Stem Cell Center, Lund University, will host the Immunity by Design: In Vivo Immune Cell Engineering Conference on 22-23 October 2026 in Lund, Sweden.
Join us in rethinking how to control immune responses
As in vivo immune engineering rapidly emerges as a transformative cell therapy, this conference is an exciting opportunity to discuss key findings and ideas for modulating immune responses directly within patients. Co-organized by Filipe Pereira, William Nyberg (Karolinska Institutet) and Alexandra Teleki (Uppsala University), Immunity by Design will cover immune engineering and immune cell therapy, synthetic immunology, delivery technologies, and translational research with insights from industry.
The program will feature multi-format presentations from leading researchers across career stages, including participants from globally recognized institutions. Formats will include keynote lectures and talks from leading researchers in the field, an interactive industry session, and 1-minute flask talks from poster presenters. In addition, the conference will highlight the role of key SciLifeLab infrastructures.
By bringing together key players from academia, healthcare and industry, Immunity by Design will be a networking opportunity for all career stages. We look forward to welcoming the international immunology and cell engineering community to Lund!
