Crash Course in Evolutionary Medicine

Save the date and join us for a short crash course in evolutionary medicine!
In a series of lectures, discussions, journal clubs, and exercises, we will introduce important concepts in ecology and evolution as relevant for cancer applications. Topics covered include:
- population dynamics
- cell states
- life history theory
- and niche theory.
All LU master's students, PhD students, and postdoctoral researchers are welcome! The course assumes no prior knowledge of ecology and evolution and is perfect for anyone that is curious about the role of ecology and evolution in medicine and for those with the desire to apply eco-evolutionary thinking to specific problems they're working on.
Register here by 25 January 2023!
