Basic Course in R Programming

Together with the Bioinformatics Core Facility, the Research School in Stem Cell Biology is excited to offer a new opportunity for students to develop their skills in R programming!
The Basic Course in R is designed to provide participants with a solid foundation in this flexible and approachable language that is widely used in research and can be used for a wide variety of purposes.
Throughout the course, you will learn the fundamentals of R, from data ingestion and storage to analysis and visualization, with a focus on bioinformatics examples. Students will engage in hands-on exercises, group work, and a final project to reinforce their understanding and practical application of R.
When: 17 - 21 March, 2025
Where: BMC, Lund University
Participants will need a laptop with R and R-studio installed, as coding exercises will be an integral part of the course. The course fee is 7000 SEK, and participants will need to obtain permission from their supervisor before applying.
