13:30 - 14:15 Sabina Kanton, PhD. Max Planck Institute, Germany: “Organoid single-cell genomic atlas uncovers human-specific features of brain development” (Nature).
14:15 - 15:00 Adam Wilkinson, PhD. Stanford University, USA: “Long-term ex vivo haematopoietic-stem-cell expansion allows nonconditioned transplantation” (Nature).
15:00 - 15:30 Fika & mingle with invited speakers at the LUX foyer
15:30 - 16:15 Nika Shakiba, PhD. University of British Columbia, Canada: “Cell competition during reprogramming gives rise to dominant clones” (Science).
16:15 - 17:00 Open discussion: challenges and rewards in science
17:00 - 18:00 Refreshments and mingle with the invited speakers at the LUX foyer
Registration required and will open when the event has been rescheduled.
In connection with the event, Stem Cell Center members will have opportunity to interact with the invited speakers further in the form of PI meetings and "Meet the Experts" lunch on Wednesday 29th April for SCC PhD students and postdocs (sign-up will be on the registration form).
