Young Investigator Symposium

"First Author" Symposium
Every year, Lund Stem Cell Center holds its own International Young Investigator "First Author" Symposium. The concept behind this event is that young scientists behind the actual experiments deserve more exposure and opportunity to promote their own high impact work. Our vision is to stimulate scientific exchange, encourage potential future collaborations and inspire our young researchers in terms of their career path. Articles of the past year are nominated by Stem Cell Center Principal Investigators, based on the criteria that the first author is early stage career and their work is novel and published in high impact journals. The articles are then evaluated and ranked by the organising committee and their respective first authors are invited to Lund Stem Cell Center to give a talk and participate in "Meet the expert" lunches and other networking opportunities.

The International Young Investigator "First Author" Symposium began in 2015. The details of the next event will appear in due course. To the right are the Young Investigator awardees from the previous years.
