Postdoctoral Fellow

The Mohlin Group is looking for a postdoctoral fellow that is excited about science and enjoys working in a team. The lab led by Associate Professor Sofie Mohlin focuses on the physiology of healthy embryogenesis and tumor initiation. In this project the candidate will use chick embryos, patient tissue material, and omics data to investigate how hotspot mutations in susceptibility genes affect healthy embryogenesis, organ formation and initation of the endocrine tumor form paraganglioma.

The postdoctoral scholarship is for two years and is available immediately. The applicant's Ph.D. degree must not be older than three years and the applicant must not have been employed at Lund University in the past two years. Individuals from underrepresented backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Postdoctoral Researcher in System Immunology

The Consiglio Group is seeking a curious, driven candidate with experience in computational biology and systems biology for a Data-Driven Life Sciences (DDLS) postdoc position. The lab led by Assistant Prof. Camila Consiglio employs high-throughput multiomics technologies and advanced computational methods to explore sex differences in human immunity. The postdoc project aims to use systems-level methodologies to investigate the impact of biological sex on human immunity.

The candidate will apply systems immunology methods to comprehensively profile the human immune system using various high-throughput technologies. The assignment comprises transcriptomic (bulk and sc-mRNA-seq), epigenomic (ATACseq, CUT&RUN), proteomic (Olink assays), and compositional, metabolic and immunophenotypic profiling (high dimensional cytometry). Work responsibilities include data curation and processing, and composition, editing or executing of computational scripts/workflows.

Research assistant/Engineer Position: Manufacturing and characterization of human tissues

The Bourgine Group is seeking a research assistant/engineer who will be involved in routine lab management/organization, as well as in the generaon of human bone/marrow organoids.

The ideal candidate should have the capacity to integrate and work in an international environment, and have robust English speaking/writing skills. Solid know how of Microsoft office tools is required as well as an experience with cell culture (adherent cells). In addition, the following skills are considered an added value: robust Swedish speaking/writing skills, experience in the field of stem cells (mesenchymal/hematopoietic systems), animal experimentation or histology techniques.

Employment type: 60 to 100%, negotiable
Starting Date: Early 2024, best before March 2024
